Snowy, Icy Narnia Snow Palace Back Porch Photography

Holy lots of snow, Batman!  As of 6:42 pm my driveway still is not plowed.  The snowbanks separating Willimantic sidewalks and roads are neck-high, and the ice is dripping off of gutters everywhere, creating sculptural formations...and I LOVE it!

I took advantage of a work cancellation this morning to do a short photo essay illustrating the winter wonderland that is my fire escape.  Beware:  there are adorable cat photos in this album!  You may be overwhelmed by cuteness.

Check it out on my Facebook fanpage.  And if you have the gumption, while you're there, toss a "like" my way!

Stay safe and warm...whether walking, or driving...and enjoy the snow!

Social Networking...necessary yet distracting

Oy vey!  I have been hard at work trying to make Tracy Weiss Photography a strong internet presence.  As it turns out, there is another Tracy Weiss Photography...in California.  Maybe we can trade places?  I prefer warm climates!

The business is growing as I have some excellent new business cards designed by the fabulous Cat Olson, soon (fingers crossed) to become a contributing blogger on this site.  I won't show you the cards just yet...I'll let Cat tell you about them.

I also have a very cool advert. that was made by the most efficient and impressive graphic designer, Dana Haddad.  The ad is currently being featured in the program for "The Day Boy and the Night Girl," a brand new musical at The Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich, CT.  My promotional photographs for this show have so far been featured in the Norwich Bulletin.

To sum up, the past two weeks have been a whirlwind of stress and excitement!

Take a look at my links:  Facebook

And my new website:  www.tweiss.com

Take care in that snow, New Englanders.  Drive safely!
